This months guest for our series is Prof. Karl-Wilhelm Koch, who will share his experience and will answer questions about becoming a scientist. - Prof. Karl-Wilhelm Koch has been a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Oldenburg for over 20 years. In his research he tries to uncover the foundations of neurosensory processes like vision and vision-related diseases or the magnetic navigation sense of birds by studying the molecular basis of the underlying cellular signal transduction, especially when calcium is involved. He will not only present his research, but share his experience and answer any and all questions you might have about becoming a scientist. Everyone, from bachelor to PhD student is invited to join us.
